Smart Roads

Using dash camera,  smartphone, GoPro, 360 camera, or drone footage, collect visual data of the roads you’d like to have rated. 

The imagery you collect will immediately appear on our platform, allowing you to easily see what’s been covered and what still needs to be collected. 

Your road imagery is then fed through our artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms.

Smart Roads technology is built on advanced research and development, and we are constantly working on our algorithms to be precisely tuned to deliver objective and actionable data.

Views can be customized to gain the insight needed to create preventative maintenance and construction plans.  You can also use our toolbox to:

• Measure the area and distance of anything on your map – like a driveway, sidewalk, or intersection

• Select a section of your assessment to summarize results for –  for example, a neighborhood or business district

• Adjust your views and perspectives based on your preferences

My Role

As a UI/UX Designer, I was participating in every part of the process. 

I started several years ago as a junior in Via Pontica AI and I was immediately brought on board working on the concept of Smart Roads.

I was lucky to participate in project so complex and interesting and I had the opportunity to actively work on the early stages.

We are now finishing the development process for the demo version. I have close contact with the front-end and back-end teams, working with them on improving final details on the design and interaction.

I am also working on a landing page for our perspective clients, where they can request a meeting and demo.
